Event Information
With 2017 marking the U.K. Subs’ 40th anniversary; this legendary punk band continues to represent the true spirit of punk rock. Inspired by the Damned at the birth of British Punk, the now equally legendary Charlie Harper formed the Subs out of his then R&B outfit The Marauders, circa summer 1977.
Starting out as The Subversives, the name was shortened to The Subs and then changed to U.K. Subs, whilst early line-ups merged their high-speed R&B sound into punk.
Charlie Harper is mit 80 (!!!) Immer noch super drauf..ein wirklich tolles Konzert. Und das Beste (auch das is Charlie): er ist vor dem Gig und auch danach IMMER am Merchandising Stand und hat null Probleme mit Selfies/Fotos und unterschreibt alles. Das ist Fannähe. Oh, und nicht zu vergessen: auch der Rest der Band versprüht immer gute Laune..bitte kommt wieder
Unerwartet überraschend gutes Event

Es ist schon irre, wieviel Spaß und Dynamik der 80 jährige Charlie Harper weiterhin auf die Bühne bringt. Die UK Subs sind auch heute noch verblüffend gut und "Das Bett" ist eine optimale Location für solche Bands.. Gott sei Dank habe ich mich nicht vom Alter der Bandmitglieder abschrecken lassen.

Die Lokation ist super, klein und übersichtlich!
Die beiden Vorgruppen NTÄ und 10Nails kannte ich nicht, fand ich aber gut.
U.K. Subs waren super, wenn auch nur 1h Stunde auf der Bühne - aber mit seinen 80 Jahren kann ich Charly auch verstehen, dass das anstrengend genug war. Er war auf der Bühne präsent und hat eine gute Show abgeliefert.
