Madball ist eine aus New York stammende Hardcore-Punk-Band, die stilbildend für spätere Metalcore-Gruppen war. Sänger Freddy Cricien ist der Halbbruder von Hardcore-Legende und Agnostic-Front-Sänger Roger Miret. Dank des großen Bruders ist Cricien auch zu seinem ersten Auftritt gekommen: Im Alter von 7 Jahren zerrte ihn Miret mit auf die Bühne, und drückte ihm das Mikrofon in die Hand.
Madball haben drei Alben auf Universal veröffentlicht, ihr letztes Album auf Epitaph Records, ihre letzte Single auf Thorp. Im Oktober 2010 erschien das aktuelle Album Empire.

MADBALL u Risk It haben wie immer überzeugend abgeliefert, die anderen Bands wurden leider wg. Absagen durch andere ersetzt, wo nicht so der Funke übersprang und teilweise Langweile aufkam.
