DJ Workshop (beginners) - DNA. Art House

Curious about DJing and ready to try it Yourself?

In this class, CZECH STRINGS walks You through everything You need to know to make Your first mix. No prior knowledge of DJing, music theory, or equipment is required.
The session starts with: what a DJ actually does, what their role is, and how it all comes together. From there, CZECH STRINGS explains the gear as a live example.

What you will learn:
Beatmatching — how to align two tracks in tempo
Cueing — how to prepare the next track for a seamless entry
Track structure and phrasing — understanding how tracks are built so You know when to mix

A part of the session is dedicated to hands-on practice. You will get the chance to step up to the decks and try it Yourself.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Nothing is required. If You'd like to bring Your own music on a USB stick, You're welcome to, but it will only work if the stick is formatted as MS-DOS (FAT) / FAT32 and the tracks have been analysed in Rekordbox beforehand.
