Linien 1, 3, 4, 6 und 10 fahren vom Hauptbahnhof (ROB) direkt zur Haltestelle "Freihofsplatz".
Von dort ist das Stadttheater in circa zwei Gehminuten bequem zu erreichen.
Wenn abends kein Bus mehr fährt bieten die Stadtwerke Aschaffenburg als ergänzendes Angebot zum Fahrplan das Anruf-Sammeltaxi (AST) an. Das AST fährt täglich bis 0:30 Uhr, Freitags und Samstags bis 2:00 Uhr nachts und zusätzlich am Sonntagvormittag. Bestellen Sie mindestens 30 Minuten vor AST-Abfahrtszeit und unter Angabe Ihrer nächsten Haltestelle das AST. Unser Service-Personal ist Ihnen bei der Taxi-Bestellung gerne behilflich. Das Stadttheater Aschaffenburg ist über die A 3 Frankfurt/Würzburg sowie über die A 45 aus Richtung Dortmund/Hanau erreichbar. Die Spielstätte liegt im Zentrum der Stadt Aschaffenburg. Sie ist von den Autobahnabfahrten aus Richtung Frankfurt kommend über die Hanauerstraße und aus Richtung Würzburg kommend über die Goldbacherstraße/Friedrichstraße in circa 5 Minuten zu erreichen.

Die Spielstätte verfügt über eine hauseigene Tiefgarage: Tiefgarage Theaterplatz (Zufahrt über Dalbergstraße). Folgen Sie im Zentrum bitte dem dynamischen Parkleitsystem.
Das Stadttheater Aschaffenburg ist für Rollstuhlfahrer und Gehbehinderte über eine Rampe am Haupteingang barrierefrei zugänglich. Für Rollstuhlfahrer werden nach Voranmeldung im Parkett Plätze mit bester Sicht reserviert. Behindertengerechte Toiletten und Garderoben sind vorhanden. Begleitpersonen haben freien Einlass. In der Tiefgarage Theaterplatz sind Behindertenparkplätze vorhanden, von dort gibt es einen direkten Aufzug in das Theater.
