Von "Gera Hbf / Theater" ist das Theater 5 Minuten Fußweg unter Bahnunterführung in Richtung Untermhaus entfernt. Auch eine Stadtbeschilderung weist Ihnen den Weg.
Aus Richtung Dresden A4 und Leipzig A9/A4/B2 :
- A4 Autobahnabfahrt bzw. B2 "Gera Langenberg" in Richtung Zentrum
- auf der Siemensstraße nach ca. 800 m Einmündung in die Berliner Straße
- auf Berliner Straße halb rechts halten
- B2/Theaterstraße
- nach der 1. Ampelkreuzung nächste Straße rechts in die Paul-Felix-Straße
- Bühneneingang Theater
Aus Richtung Greiz:

Das Theater verfügt über einen kostenlosen Besucherparkplatz (begrenzte Anzahl an Stellplätzen), Zufahrt über die Paul-Felix-Straße.
Auf dem Parkplatz Hofwiesenpark stehen Ihnen darüber hinaus ca. 1.000 kostenfreie Parkflächen zur Verfügung.
Außerdem dürfen Sie gerne das öffentliche Parkhaus am Pentahotel in der Gutenbergstraße für 1€/h benutzen, das rund um die Uhr geöffnet ist.
Rollstuhlfahrer erreichen das Haus barrierefrei über einen Seiteneingang, der von den drei behindertengerechten Parkflächen auf dem Besucherparkplatz (Zufahrt Paul-Felix-Straße) schnell zu erreichen ist. Der Einlass über den Seiteneingang erfolgt frühestens eine Stunde vor Beginn der Vorstellung. Bei Ankunft am Seiteneingang können Gäste dann einfach die für Rollstuhlfahrer leicht erreichbare Klingel an der rechten Türseite betätigen. Unser Pförtner oder das Vorderhauspersonal öffnen Ihnen dann die Tür. Direkt von dort gelangt man mit einem Personenaufzug in alle Ebenen der Zuschauerzugänge und zu den Sälen.
Das Parkett des Theatersaals im Großen Haus Gera verfügt über vier Rollstuhlplätze, die problemlos mit einem Rollstuhl zu erreichen sind. Darüber hinaus kann eine Induktionsschleife im Saal hörbehinderten Menschen helfen, die Aufführung auch akustisch mitzuerleben.
Der Konzertsaal verfügt über sechs Rollstuhlplätze, jedoch über keine Induktionsschleife.
