Anyone who has ever seen Seraina Telli live knows why her music is best described as "In-Your-Face-Rock": The musician fills every room with her unmistakable vocal power, big guitar riffs, and her colorful punk-meets-glitter attitude. Her shows evoke all emotions – boredom has no place here.
Whether performing solo with just an acoustic guitar or with her band, Seraina easily captivates her audience. Without hesitation, she draws from a wide variety of stylistic elements in her songwriting – from rock to metal, punk, and a good pinch of pop – creating a refreshingly authentic sound that’s happy to get into your ears and stay there.
Her debut album, SIMPLE TALK, went straight to number 2 on the Swiss album charts after its release on October 21, 2022 – a sensation for a rock newcomer – and even secured number 28 on the US metal radio charts.
The album was recorded and produced in Switzerland and Mallorca with her producer, Rico H., with whom Telli has worked since leaving Burning Witches in 2019. With her music, Seraina Telli blasts listeners with lyrics of captivating straightforwardness: Songs like "I'm Not Sorry" or "Modern Warrior" make a promise of power that the multi-instrumentalist effortlessly keeps. At her live shows, Telli takes you into her universe full of unbridled creativity, touching, shaking, and never letting go.
In the fall of 2022, Seraina Telli played several concerts with Stahlmann and accompanied Core Leoni, the band of Gotthard guitarist Leo Leoni, on their European tour, "Let Life Begin." In the spring of 2023, Seraina toured with The New Roses and opened for the legendary Steel Panther in Hamburg and Berlin. She also supported Monster Magnet and played numerous festivals throughout the summer. As a crowning finale to the summer season, she toured the UK with Visions of Atlantis. There was hardly time to catch her breath; on August 25, her second album, Addicted to Color, was released and hit the top spot on the Swiss album charts. This was followed by the successful nationwide Color Addict tour in September and October.
In December, Seraina performed at the "Das Zelt" production This is Rock in the Hallenstadion with greats such as Marc Storace (Krokus) and many more. Several international tours are already planned for 2024. The season kicked off in late January in sunny Spain with a handful of warm-up gigs. Seraina accompanied Neue Deutsche Welle legend Joachim Witt and the rockers from John Diva, and the momentum continued at the same fast pace. This time, not without Seraina being nominated for the Swiss Music Award in the “Best Female Act” category and opening for none other than Bryan Adams before thousands at the BCF Arena.
It continued with several summer festivals and further tours in the fall with “Visions of Atlantis” and “Nazareth”. December saw the launch of Seraina's new and exclusive series of unplugged Christmas acoustic concerts, which successfully showcased the quieter but no less impressive side of Seraina.
Telli's concert calendar is already full in 2025: In spring, she will be on the road in Europe with her first, own “Color Addict” tour and in March, she will play the other side of the pond - the USA - before Visions of Atlantis. You guessed it: a day without music is a day lost for Seraina. Seraina Telli is an update - not only for rock music: loud, colorful and without mincing words, she plays her way straight into the ear canals and hearts of her audience and will also cause a stir internationally.
