“Art-Punk by non-punk non-artists”—Utah bred and LA based, Sego first caught the attention of LA tastemakers with their penchant for avant-garde grooves helming indie-pop hooks.
"I need every last second..Los Angeles-based quartet Sego creates boisterous, hook-driven indie rock reminiscent of Beck or Phoenix in the early 2000s."-Bob Boilen, NPR
"[Sego's] music is technical, yet accessible...Very fashionable non-fashion."-Corey Fox, VELOUR LIVE
“Riddled with musical quirks and kinks that call to mind Beck’s zanier tendencies. The bass provides a pounding pattern akin to a heart on the verge of bursting, which the song eventually does during its climactic, jarring, but wholly enrapturing chorus...with an anthemic track of this magnitude, festival bookers would be smart to snatch them up for the summer season.”-Consequence Of Sound
“One of the best rock choruses ["Neon Me Out"] of the year so far."
“One might call this a thinking man’s mosh pit album."–PASTE MAGAZINE
