Nils Frahm (* 20. September 1982 in Hamburg) ist ein deutscher Musiker und Komponist. Er tritt als Solokünstler unter seinem eigenen Namen auf und hat mit mehreren Musikern, wie z. B. Anne Müller, Ólafur Arnalds und F.S. Blumm, zusammengearbeitet. Er lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
Leben
Frahm erhielt bereits während seiner Kindheit Klavierunterricht von Nahum Brodski, einem Schüler des letzten Tchaikovsky-Schülers. Er hat sich mit den Stilen der klassischen Pianisten sowie zeitgenössischer Komponisten beschäftigt. Heute arbeitet Frahm als Komponist und Produzent in Berlin. Anfang 2008 gründete er Durton Studio, wo er mit gleich gesinnten Musikern gearbeitet hat.
