Katja Werker ist Multiinstrumentalistin und Autodidaktin, das Spielen mehrerer Instrumente (u.a. Gitarre und Klavier) brachte sie sich selbst bei. Sie hat vier Musik-Alben veröffentlicht und ein Buch geschrieben. Die Instrumente auf dem Album Leave that thing behind spielte sie alle selbst. Ihre Begabung wurde von einem evangelischen Pfarrer entdeckt, einem Jugendgruppenleiter.
