Digitalism ist ein Electro-House-Duo, bestehend aus Jens „Jence" Moelle und İsmail „Isi" Tüfekçi.
Geschichte
Die beiden Hamburger machen bereits seit dem Jahr 2000 gemeinsam Musik, Digitalism gründeten sie 2004. Das Debüt-Album Idealism erschien zunächst auf dem französischen Label Kitsuné, wurde aber im Mai 2007 auf dem großen Plattenlabel EMI neu veröffentlicht und fand auch international Beachtung. Seitdem spielen sie auch auf größeren Festivals, z.B. Melt (2007 & 2011) oder Hurricane Festival (2008 & 2011) sowie dem Festival "SonneMondSterne" 2012 in Saalburg. Im Juni 2011 wurde ihr zweites reguläres Album I Love You Dude veröffentlicht. Bekannt wurden sie durch die Lieder „idealistic”, welches im Soundtrack von Midnight Club: Los Angeles Verwendung findet und dem Lied „Circles”, das in FIFA12 zu hören ist.
