Capo ist ein deutscher Rapper aus Offenbach, der 2013 mit seinem Debütalbum Hallo Monaco in die Szene einstieg. Seinen großen Durchbruch feierte er 2017 mit Alles auf Rot – Platz 4 in den deutschen Charts. Die Single „Lambo Diablo GT“ (mit Nimo) wurde ein massiver Hit und erreichte Platinstatus.
2019 folgte das Kollaboalbum Capimo mit Nimo, das mit über 300 Millionen Streams zu einem der erfolgreichsten Deutschrap-Alben der letzten Jahre wurde. Auch sein Soloalbum Hyat (2021) festigte seinen Status als feste Größe im Straßenrap.
Musikalisch steht Capo für eine Mischung aus hartem Straßenrap, melodischen Hooks und ehrlicher Alltagslyrik – oft mit Einflüssen aus Trap, Afrotrap und französischem Rap.
