Baby Bash (* 15. November 1975 in Vallejo, Kalifornien; auch Baby Beesh; bürgerlich Ronnie Ray Bryant) ist ein US-amerikanischer Rapper.
Biografie
Er ist Sohn einer mexikanischen Mutter und eines US-amerikanischen Vaters und vertritt das Latin-Genre. Sein Interesse für Musik stieg erheblich, als er beschloss nach Houston, Texas, zu ziehen. Gemeinsam mit dem Rapper South Park Mexican wirkte er in verschiedenen Rap-Kombos mit, bevor er im Jahre 2001 sein Debütalbum Savage Dreams herausbrachte. In Deutschland gelang ihm erst 2003, zusammen mit Frankie J., mit dem Song Suga Suga der Durchbruch. Sein 2005 veröffentlichtes Album Super Saucy brachte es immerhin auf Platz 11 der US-amerikanischen Album-Charts.
Der Name Baby Bash (von engl.: to bash - etwa: heftig schlagen, verprügeln) ist trotz oder wegen der eher "weichen", souligen Attitüde des Künstlers sehr kontrovers zu sehen.
