Be Careful What You Say Next - Solo Stand-up Hour by Anja Woot

What is life but a series of screamingly weird words and moments? But sometimes, my dear, you should be careful what you say next. This is the new solo show by Anja Woot combining STAND-UP COMEDY and LIVE MUSIC!

Anja Woot emerged from the swamps of Slovenia. (Like not really, she's not from the capital which is actually built on a swamp, she is from the 2nd biggest Slovenian city, but "emerge from the swamps" sounds more dramatic and Anja identifies as a peculiar creature, half mermaid half delusio-maid.)

In her new solo hour, she tries to figure out why her life is equal parts a dream, a colourful disaster, and full-blown circus. Anja does not shy away from sharing intimate stories with unanticipated twists and a quirky sense of humour that keeps you captivated with laughter and questions like "But why would she get herself into this predicament in the first place?". But: Be careful what you say (and think) next—because with Anja, one sentence can take you somewhere you absolutely did not see coming. She also loves screaming into the void (mostly Taylor Swift lyrics) and singing (oh yes, she will sing!).

Not to brag, but her comedy has often been described as "ahahaha", "so good, the best" and "please, get off the stage, this is a strip club".
