FRAU LEHMANN ist ein Quartett aus Leipzig. Fiona Lehmanns Texte und Vortrag sind Kern und Ankerpunkt der Songs, die uns lyrisch und gnadenlos aus der Theatervorstellung hinaus auf das Pflaster der Stadt werfen und uns an einer sehnsüchtigen Theke in Einsamkeit ertränken. Vergleiche bieten sich an, Sänger:innen, Poet:innen, Suchende aus allen Epochen der Literatur, des Rock und Pop, und sind somit schon wieder hinfällig. Man sagt eben doch wieder Element of Crime und Isolation Berlin, weil Dylan Thomas und Hildegard Knef nicht so hip klingt.
2022 veröffentlichte die Band die VIER JAHRESZEITEN-EP, die ihnen einen kleinen Szene-Erfolg einbrachte. Darauf folgte 2024 die Split-EP GEWÄSCH zusammen mit Jan Müllers (TOCOTRONIC) Sideprojekt DIRTY DISHES.
Im Januar 2026 erschien das Debütalbum TROST & TROTZ bei La Pochette Surprise Records. Die Platte wurde von Publikum und Presse sehr positiv aufgenommen und erhielt starke Besprechungen.
